If you love Miami, you know that the city is famous for its glamorous style and festive atmosphere. However, as much as Miamians love to party, there is also a place in their heart for giving back to the community. Recently, I was able to attend a charity fashion show organized by an international fashion designer Kirsten Regalado and The Circle of F.R.I.E.N.D.S. of South Florida.

The event included a fashion show by Kirsten Regalado and Luxchilas Handbags. A special guest Drusilla Gucci of the famed Gucci family supported the cause and modeled during the show. Guests also enjoyed hors d’oeuvres, traditional Philippine food, beverages and live entertainment at a beautiful spacious hall at Pierini Esthetic Center.

Kirsten Regalado is a very inspirational woman and a talented designer. Her creativity is truly endless. Kirsten creates elaborate customized evening gowns with an exotic touch. The choice of fabric makes any woman feel gorgeous and comfortable at the same time. A color palette, from pastel to bright or more traditional black and white, will appeal to any demand and occasion. In Spring/Summer collection debuted at the fashion show Kirsten included dresses for girls, men’s shirts and formal gowns. In addition to lively colors, she beautifully incorporated traditional Philippine styles and patterns.

All proceeds from this charitable event will benefit orphan children, elderly and disabled indigents in the Philippines, and support Small Dream livelihood programs.
