My style is a bit eclectic, I don’t ever really stick to one particular trend or style but rather go with how I’m feeling on the day. Recently I’ve been enjoying a more hip-hop and high-tops kind of look like that which you see below:
imageAll of the above clothing is my own, the genes are from a punk boutique in London and were purchased 7 years ago ha ha, the rest I picked up here and there.

I also love bo-ho chic and laid back beach ready clothing, high-waisted shorts and cotton shirts like that which you see below:

imageThe outfit is one with a story, I bought the pants in a spice market in Mozambique and traded my sister a tank top for the shirt.

However, when it comes to a night out, an event or special occasion I’m a sucker for dress up and sparkle, I always go all out, probably the theatrical side of me. Below is a picture of me at a recent event wearing Pallu drenched in sparkles and sequins:

imageWhen it comes to nutrition, health and activity, I always try to opt for the more healthy option, I store things in glass as opposed to plastic, take stevia a natural sweetener or honey as opposed to sugar, I love raw veg packed full of nutritional value like baby spinach, broccoli, and sugar snap peas. I ,like my sister and mother, could probably live solely on fruit and veg, with passion-fruit and Avocados topping my list as personal favorites.

I drink a stack of water and love tossing fresh citrus and mint into a tall pitcher with icy water and sip on it throughout the day, however it is not all health here, I have a massive soft spot for chocolate especially chocolate peanuts, but Ive taught myself to love the antioxidant rich dark chocolate that I now consume on a daily basis.

I am an avid cook and baker, I never do anything out of a box and pride myself of tackling things from scratch just as my gran taught me and yes I always lick the bowl at the end 😉

I am the kind of person to take the stairs instead of the elevator or do baby squats at my desk while working on the computer, I am exceptionally flexible and love yoga, the peace and strength gained from it is only paralleled by that which dance renders, I have good rhythm and adore Spanish dancing, the passion and power of it is delicious, I also adore the serenity of a long run, with only the side-walk, steady thud of my heartbeat and rumble of base from my headphones to keep me company. It is a dream of mine to one-day complete a big marathon in honor of the loved ones that I’ve lost to cancer and in support of those who continue to battle it.
