Notable guests included former professional Italian soccer player Alessandro Nesta, the Florida Panthers and 10-year-old professional go kart racer, Elio Jr. A proud sponsor of the little champion, the owners of Villa Castelli presented Elio Jr. with a check for $12,000 to continue pursuing his racing career.

About Villa Castelli

Villa Castelli was named after a small southern Italian town where Ciro Costanzo, the restaurant’s general manager, was born and raised. The restaurant’s décor is reminiscent of a 1940’s Italian eatery which includes fresh roses on every table highlighted by authentic recipes handed down over the generations. Helmed by Sicilian-born Chef Jioacchino Sofia and Chilean-born, European-groomed Executive Chef Gonzalo Fuente Alba, the menu is changed every month to keep the experience fresh in Miami’s ever-evolving culinary scene.
